September Rain
Ok, I admit, I made it rain on the poor spider’s home. Not only did I chase it, but I flooded it’s home with water from spray bottle. I couldn’t wait for the real rain to fall, in case the spider’s web disappeared.
All I’ve done to the image is brighten it up and place a slight little frame around bottom edge.
September Rain belongs to the following groups:
Bubblettes, Freedom to Shine, Live, Love, Dream, Macro H2O , Rain Drops and The Fine Art of PhotographyAvailable for sale as Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints and Framed Prints

Wonderful shot, Dabble. How did you think of it?
Adriana Glackin, about 1 year ago
Thanks Alan and Patricia.
the spider’s web was huge, so I sprayed a fair bit of water onto the web – and kept on spraying until I was happy with the size of the “dew drops”, then I snapped away from all sorts of angles, and dare I say it, I’ll only upload this one – ha ha ha!!!

Cathleen Taraw..., about 1 year ago
Wonderful; how did you frame it??
Adriana Glackin, about 1 year ago
Thanks Tony and Antoine : )
Thanks Cathleen, glad you like it! To frame it, I used the gradient tool on a new layer, then used the eraser to rub out the bits I didn’t want. Oh, it was on photoshop. I’m not sure if this is the ‘correct’ way of doing it, but it’s how I di it for this image.

What a clever and innovative way to achieve these results! I have spider webs EVERYWHERE at this time of year, so I think I’ll grab the spray bottle and give ‘em a little dousing. Ah, the things we learn daily from smart, talented people like you! Thanks for sharing your little secret and your fabulous photo!

Thanks EWNY! : )
Good luck with the web shots Bonnie, I only took about 100 to get this one…phew!!! I am learning patience, truly I am! : )

This is an excellent shot. Absolutely fantastic. I’ve been wanting to do one of these web-dew type shots for ages now – never thought to use a spray bottle – might have to try it!! :-)

I am sure if that spider were to see this pic, another ‘home’ would be built for you to do it again!
