the spider’s web was huge, so I sprayed a fair bit of water onto the web – and kept on spraying until I was happy with the size of the “dew drops”, then I snapped away from all sorts of angles, and dare I say it, I’ll only upload this one – ha ha ha!!!

Thanks Cathleen, glad you like it! To frame it, I used the gradient tool on a new layer, then used the eraser to rub out the bits I didn’t want. Oh, it was on photoshop. I’m not sure if this is the ‘correct’ way of doing it, but it’s how I di it for this image.

What a clever and innovative way to achieve these results! I have spider webs EVERYWHERE at this time of year, so I think I’ll grab the spray bottle and give ‘em a little dousing. This is an excellent shot. Absolutely fantastic. I’ve been wanting to do one of these web-dew type shots for ages now – never thought to use a spray bottle – might have to try it!! :-)
