September Rain
Ok, I admit, I made it rain on the poor spider’s home. Not only did I chase it, but I flooded it’s home with water from spray bottle. I couldn’t wait for the real rain to fall, in case the spider’s web disappeared.
All I’ve done to the image is brighten it up and place a slight little frame around bottom edge.

Wonderful shot, Dabble. How did you think of it?
Adriana Glackin
Thanks Alan and Patricia.
the spider’s web was huge, so I sprayed a fair bit of water onto the web – and kept on spraying until I was happy with the size of the “dew drops”, then I snapped away from all sorts of angles, and dare I say it, I’ll only upload this one – ha ha ha!!!

Cathleen Taraw...
Wonderful; how did you frame it??
Adriana Glackin
Thanks Tony and Antoine : )
Thanks Cathleen, glad you like it! To frame it, I used the gradient tool on a new layer, then used the eraser to rub out the bits I didn’t want. Oh, it was on photoshop. I’m not sure if this is the ‘correct’ way of doing it, but it’s how I di it for this image.

What a clever and innovative way to achieve these results! I have spider webs EVERYWHERE at this time of year, so I think I’ll grab the spray bottle and give ‘em a little dousing. Ah, the things we learn daily from smart, talented people like you! Thanks for sharing your little secret and your fabulous photo!
