patience

After answering some interview questions recently, I continued thinking about one of the questions posed. If I could, would I upload an image of me as I am, without the aid of PS editing to tweak the true-to-life bits? Well, the challenge was on. Countless shots with the camera set on timer, and using only natural light (that was fading fast), I settled on this one. Manual setting, 1 second exposure, Av f4.0.

It’s interesting that although I haven’t used PS to change my appearance, I still had to apply a touch of mascara and lip gloss – and I removed my glasses. I guess I had to draw the line somewhere… ; )

I love the darkness behind you, you seem to melt into it but at the same time you are a part of the light. Great work!

Love portraits in natural light – this is a beautiful one. Love the softness of the jumper reflected in your face

It would take me quite some time to mention everything I see in this… it’s worth noting that none of those things are bad. It’s a beautifull photo of a beautifull moment, of a beautifull woman.
There is truth in this image… I really can’t stop looking at it! Just stunning!

We all see ourselves different as others see us. I like the image that has a warm feel to it.

I decided when I registered on redbubble I would us my real name but I still have not uploaded an image of myself.

You have captured the emotion well. The exposure and light adds to that mood. PS or not the image works well.
