Cleaning Nikon D80
I have spots on my photos and have discovered there is dust on the silver mirror thingies inside my camera. Should I take it in to be cleaned or is it safe to get out the q-tips?

I take mine in. There is a camera cleaning kit you can get but I would have them show you how to clean it. I’m sure they won’t have a problem showing you.
Hi! Don’t use Q-Tips…. LINT!!!! I periodicly clean with a camel hair brush.. any camera store… or Wal*Mart. Tip: when the lens is off always have the body facedown on a level surfaces. – John
