So, I’m working on saving up for a Nikon 50mm 1.4 lens but at the same time would love to get a Nikon 105mm micro lens. I’ve been selling little things here and there online and slowly accumulating the money to get one of the above. Sometimes it would be easy just to go spend the money on something else, but I know I’m working towards a goal and that makes it easier to save and not spend in other places.
So, why is it that once you have a SLR camera, your list of wants never gets shorter-even after you’ve purchased any items on your list????

LOL because it takes over your lifes and you want to try the next thing that grabs your attention and have a go at, my list is for ever growing, not just in equipment but what i want to try in processing or taking Images of. Think it is called having a passion. : ) hope you get what ever lens you want soon and look forward to seeing the results on here.

I’m really thinking the 50mm will be the next one as it’s the most in my price range.

Well it is good you are working your way up to something for you, a step at a time, As it is so easy for other things to take over and you never get what you would really like. Look forward to seeing what you acheive with the 50mm, i have been reading about it and it does look interesting.Karen : )

It’s a disease, an addiction that we constantly have to feed. I find If I don’t pick up my camera for a few days I start going through withdrawls. It’s a good disease though :)

Karen and Eric made me laugh! The 50 is a good all around lens! I have a want list a mile long! I have found the best way to keep it and change it was to make it a Wish List on Amazon.com LOL! My fiancee usually looks at this at Xmas and by then I’ve prioritized them LOL Kim

That sounds like a good idea. I think my list would be of things that would be too expensive though :(
