    Did you employ the Orton effect here? It’s subtle but there does seem to be a softening of the image.

  • Don’t know the Orton effect. I used to use a series of softening filters in the printing process, back in the darkroom days to slightly flair the lights.

    Whether intended, I’m enticed by the variations of curve throughout this image. The model herself, the willow branches, (which seem curve and angle at once), the background, the vase, even the lines in her feet and the slight tan lines on her lower body. The lighting is magnificent. Film and your eye and the model have done justice to this world.
