Our society tends to glamorize every aspect of sex. Infidelity is common place and young boys and girls strive to earn their way into adulthood via sexual conquests and multiple endeavors. Pressures are placed on women to have firm bodies with huge breasts and microscopic waistlines. Pressures are placed on men to be hard-bodied energizer bunnies on a constant quest for more sexual conquests. Yet as soon as a young girl or woman becomes pregnant, society bashes her. People compromise their principles all the time for a few minutes of sexual satisfaction. People march in front of abortion clinics labeling scared women and girls murderers. Yet if a woman opts to keep a baby, she is often seen as an irresponsible whore. This feature is a dedication to all the woman who find themselves with the most difficult and complex choice they will ever make. I shutter to think how many wonderful mothers aborted a child because society is so quick to point the finger of judgement.
