I love writing poetry, as it offers the opportunity to capture the essence of realness in a soft venue. I am deeply in love with my charming husband, Tom. In November of 2008, I gave birth to my beautiful daughter, Dalianna. She is the very essence of my life! I value sincerity, unconditional love, honor, compassion, romance, sentimental moments, bravery, and laughter. I love animals and have two wonderful cats, Lacey and Tabatha. I teach second grade in an inner-city public school. I love activitities which allow for freedom of creative movement and thought such as dancing, ice-skating, writing, photography, and deep conversations with a true friend. I hope that one day our society learns to value soft hearts over hard bodies. Much of my writing entails my passion about this belief.
