Casualties of the Road

Casualties of the Road

This is the front grill of our seni-truck full of poor butterflies and a few dragonflies!! Most of them are “snout” butterflies. This was taken down in southwest Texas. The half circle you are seeing up twards the top is not something on the lens or a reflection, this is where the engine fan is behind the grill. The birds sure did take advantage of the free meal of butterflies!!

WOW, Cindy, that’s a lot of butterflies. When we went to Colorado, the front of the truck was covered in bugs/butterflies. And the bike’s windshield, which was taller than the cab of the truckl, was covered like she had been riden to Colrado rather than in the back of a truck. :) Nice shot. Sad they don;t know how to get out of the way. :)

  • CynLynn replied

All the dead ones made a good meal for the birds!! thanks so much Nancy
