This composition is based on an image of a truck driving from Germany into Austria in the snow on the highway in winter 2006. In the source photo the red square is the truck and the blue square is the sign that marks the entrance of the country. It is the typical design of the European Union with the name of the country inside twelve yellow stars. On this sign it says ‘Republik Österreich’.

However, the abstract composition that I’ve constructed out of this original photo leaves space for your own interpretation. The composition is part of the webart project ‘No Men’s Land’.
