I saw this girl in Patpong, the red light district of Bangkok at night. She was crocheting something red. Americans call crochet ‘hook’, hence ‘hooker’. No idea about her job – another proof that it’s so easy to make assumptions. Think twice when you read the titles of photos…
this is a great shot. just one question, how did this make the black and white photography group? just wondering. im kindof glad it did, i like this picture.
Andrew, here’s what the black and white photography groupsays for acceptation: ‘This group displays black and white photography, but soft toned photography (duo tones) is also accepted’. So this one was a soft tone. The wool was bright red in reality :)

great shot, love the color, comp, dof, her feet, everything
nice capture, the title is somewhat disturbing, but adds to the shot. Well done

Oh you sly dog you. From now on I shall think twice about image titles (and those of my own) from now on. Lesson learned!
I could not resist you see ;)

I like the voyeuristic feel of this photo – you don’t know her, she doesn’t know that you are there… great shot!
