Fab!! The Vikings were a fascinating population. The Stockholm Museum was brilliant to have an insight about how the vikings used to live. The Oslo Museum is principally on their boat and talents as sea people… The boats were buried with the deceased chief.. they had to build new opnes then :O. Thew were intact, that’s crazy!!

I must say the architecture was unbelievable, a piece of art in itself, built for the purpose of the museum..

So simple…great composition! You are very talented…how the heck do you know what camera to use and when! I’m still learning and only have a digital SLR and one lens! Anyway..beautiful photos:)

Thank you so much, what a compliment!!!
To answer your question, well it’s a continuity, I take whatever camera is at hand, I take my DSLR whenever possible I only have one lens too (for now), but it’s a very versatile one: 28-70:2.8 great for travelling. I don’t want too many lens, as it is extra manipulation and more dust on the sensor, more time lost. The S5 IS is a bridge, which has a crazy x12 zoom, brilliant camera. it has a wider angle than my DSLR lens, and also has a super macro (0cm!!!) and it is very light, and cheaper (I take it when too much risk is involved). It produces great quality photos, but jpgs, not raw….
All in all, the camera is not THAT important (I have one or two photos taken with a ridiculous brandless 2MP, an early one, I also have still my beloved very old film SLR the canon AE1), it’s what your eye sees. I find that it’s great to spend lots of time with the same lens or camera, since you become very familiar -one – with it and can predict what can look good with it or not. And take your cam everywhere. take lots of photos, but don’t bracket, anticipations will get you better results than bracketting.. And jsut look around, That’s all i know, I have lots to learn yet about photography….Practice and continuous learning is the key….

Thanks for your thoughts (above). I’m going to look into your lens…mine isn’t very versatile, and I don’t want to lug around photo equipment everywhere! I agree that anticipation and patience are key. I used to try to make something out of nothing, now I just wait for the “something”. With three kids, I find it hard to wait too long though:) Ohhhh, maybe someday! Thanks again
