It’s hard to write something about yourself that doesn’t sound pretentious and ridiculous. I have been passionate about photography since my late teens and have always wanted to paint. I pursued the photography more so than the painting. However, with the advent of the digital medium, I could then combine both. My art is created from layering photographs to create sometimes romantic, sometimes surreal images that hopefully touch the viewer in some way. Frequently, I will just photograph landscapes and wildlife and not tinker with it but usually I must tweak a titch.
