Cabarita Beach or “Caba” , as we know it, is an iconic surf location in Far Northern NSW…
The wooden walking trail across to Norries Headland is fairly easy , with a few resting stops along the way to take in the amazing coastal views ..There are other coastal walking trails in this area too ..
Norries Headland was once an island joined to the mainland by a sandbar which was only accessible at low tide . Waves would crash through the sandbar between the island & the mainland in rough weather …Sandminers working in the region built a rock wall to protect the sand bar , & resulting in this beautiful cove ..
Caba beautiful !
