Sins Come Easy

There are demons in your blood,
hands move
on their own
and sins come easy
between her legs
between your own
there’s little beauty, only
absolution
sweet, salty oblivion
and fragments
that show you yourself
and your stained lipstick
on the carpet, the floor
stained lips
on her
everywhere

there’s nothing you wouldn’t do
for a tissue
a sink
for these fingers to pry themselves loose
but she’s adamant, tells you
“stay and feel me tremble”
so I get dirty hands,
a guilty conscience,

one more thing to pay for.

    Feeling used? Instead of sated?

  • Yes. Precisely. It’s a terrible feeling.
