I love weathered mechanisms, rust in particular. Coupled with the colours you get from seawater and small plants there can be some tremendous combinations. This view of a decaying pipe on concrete was taken near Neist Point lighthouse on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. It was a changeable day and if I’d gotten there 5 minutes later I wouldn’t have been able to get this shot because the black clouds rolled in and darkened everything.
