Mark Twain or Two Fathoms...

How deep is my valley
How deep is my pain
How deep is my anger
So I cry out… Mark Twain.
.
How deep is my love
How deep is my stain
How heavy does my heart hang
So I cry out… Mark Twain.
.
How deep are my feelings
How deep do I maintain
the love that I bare you
So I cry out… Mark Twain.
.
How deep do the roots grow
How deep goes the rain
How deep must I feed my life
So I cry out… Mark Twain.
.
So I sail through this life
as my time starts to wane
Still I try to inspire
So I cry out… Mark Twain.
.
So read this my children
and heed to what I do cry
For this life is but once
So at least give it a try….. So I cry out Mark Twain.
.
Two Fathoms may be shallow
But it still allows you some good sailing……!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Artist's Description

I have been a great fan of Samuel Clemens all of my life. His other name was Mark Twain….
As I was watching a documentary on the life of Samuel Clemens ( 1835 – 1910 ) I thought about his aka: Mark Twain,,,, and as I pondered over its meaning I thought of this verse that tells something of my own life.
…………….“Mark Twain,” was the cry for a measured river depth of two fathoms……………
