Creative - Individual - Free
I was sitting at the PC this morning, reading and looking at the talented friends that I have on Red Bubble, and I thought of what I have done throughout my life with my talents that I have been blessed with.
So I have written this for the young members that may have just joined, and are wondering what to do with there lives.
Creative - Individual - Free belongs to the following groups:

take me away on a cloud
For the world was a mess, with sadness and stress
and the people were just a big crowd.

So I picked up a brush and began to learn art
for individuality was what I wanted most
Not to be cast in a mould of many
but to create, to be free, and to boast.
.
I am but one who has achieved in this life
something that talent can give
I may not be famous, or rich, or have power
but with nature and colour I do live.
.
My friends and my family are the ones that are strong
for ‘tis they that help me create
By giving support, and some words of advice
that help me to persist and to relate.
.
So if you are young, and the future looks grim
choose a hobby or a subject and jump in
Study its heart, and get to know its very soul
and the individual person in this life you will win.
.
Nomatter what you choose to find in this life
always try to do the best that you can
For an individual will always stand out in a crowd
Be them child, be them woman, or man.
.
Be CREATIVE….
Be an INDIVIDUAL….
But most of all, be FREE.

This is brilliant Larry and I’m pleased you documented these words … and especially shared them. I hope the young do read it and learn from it as you are so right! It doesn’t matter that we are famous, rich or influential … its more important that we use the talents we have and be content with the joy they bring. Self satisfaction is a wonderful feeling and we all need to be reminded to reflect on what we have more often to realise how lucky we are!♥
