Beyond Sky Etchings

This is a little poem that I was inspired to write, after reading “Sky Etchings” by tkrosevear…

But with the color in the night,
comes a burst from the past
To remind us of our freedom
and to give us a blast.
.
But do not forget
that the future is ours
So to survive in this world
we must grow the trees and the flowers.
.
For without what I have mentioned
the future is dead
For ‘tis oxygen we need
so please listen to what I have said.
.
The future is nigh
so to live in the past
means to be raising the flag
to fly at half mast……............. Humanity must survive.
.
