In Response to Fairy Tag

I was inspired to write this little poem in responce to “Fairy Tag” by tkrosevear…Click here.

Fairies do and Fairies don’t
So wish upon a star
For if you will or if you won’t
The Fairies will win by far.
.
For in your dreams the webs they weave
and leave there dust unseen
So don’t you snigger up your sleeve
Because some can be really mean.
.
So be nice when asleep and enjoy your dreams
and don’t anger any if you care
For if you do they will slide on the beams
from the sun and be given a dare.
.
Wishes come easy to give and to take
so Fairies will dance in the dark
Waiting to see what wish they can make
before you wake with the sound of the Lark.
.
So be strong and believe, with all of your might
and stay true to your memories of old.
For children grow old, and there memories fade
so to your imagination you must always grab hold.

I so love this writing my brother, my granddaughters and I have running stories we share of fairy encounters, so this immediately reminded me of them both with a huge smile and warm heart – thank you for being inspired by my fae poem ;) xoxoxox

    Hi Sis.
    Well, what can I say.
    You inspire me.
We share space on this earth you and I, in more ways than one.
That’s why we are meeting later this year.
Because it is meant to happen.
We were meant to help inspire each other.
Faerie Dust or Athena’s Arrows, one way or another we will meet.
We are both from the same nest, just years apart.

Nice Larry, and don’t forgot that fairies will be remembered whenever people clap hands

  • Larry Davis replied

All I know is, I owe them in more ways than one. ( the faeries )
You see, I am still trying to catch up with reality.
My childhood was taken away from me the moment that I was born.
And now that I am an indipendent adult, I am trying to find what I have missed.
Thank heaven I still have my imagination.
