An Inspiration to Medicine Tree.

I was inspired to write this, as a reply to TK Rosevear’s writing and image of “Medicine Tree”

An Inspiration to Medicine Tree. belongs to the following groups:

"Exceptional Ekphrasis", All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical and Animal Kingdom

The wise old Frogmouth that we have in the skies
gives us the strength, and it’s with him that I now have ties.
.
The platypus so deep, in the rivers and creeks
making sure that the waters are clear, so he seeks.
.
The wombat so silent, widespread and low
digging holes that will save us, where-ever we go.
.
The echidna with spines, chasing ants for a meal
will give strength in ways that only the mind will feel.
.
But the one thing that heels the soul, body and mind
are the native herbs and plants in Australia that you find.
.
So believe in nature, for tis she that will give
the thing we require to be able to live.
.
If you think about this then in nature you will find,
harmony in the earth, plants and animals, and in
your own mind.

when humans forget that they also are part of the whole then the whole is diminished … in their ignorance and arrogance they have come to believe themselves to be above nature … foolish humans .. it may cause their extinction …
