RB Friendships.
I have been inspired to write something because of the friendships I have made on RedBubble.
So this is me and how I feel.
RB Friendships. belongs to the following groups:
"Exceptional Ekphrasis" and All Things Poetic, Artistic, PhilosophicalTwirling my mind in a sea of emotion
skimming the ocean of turmoil in the dark
Holding my head up in the swirl of the ocean
wanting to fly like the Raven or the Lark.
But the demons do grow and take hold in the dark
the colour of the rose is black
The clouds and the birds that swirl in my mind
seem always to be coming back.
So I look to my friends to add light to my soul
to take charge of my bottomless pit
To strengthen my bond to the ones that I love
and to strengthen the light that is lit.
Depression does rule from time to time
so I sit in my room in the dark
Taking solace from memories that are dead in my past
and I wander alone in my park.
The Green Man I look to for solace and joy
and he hears me calling out loud
So I plant a tree and give thanks to the earth
and it really makes me feel so proud.
So think no more of the feelings so dark
for the light of the world does shine
The future is there to be had by all
but for me, it’s with my friends that I dine.

I have been inside this dark pit all my life, and I need to tell people how I feel from time to time.
I’m not looking for sympathy, I just need to see the sun occasionally.

Whether it’s because I can just say what I mean, without any outside interference ? or whether it’s the artestry inside me wanting to get out I don’t know ?.
But I have bonded with so many people on RB, it makes me sad to think that I will never get to meet you all face to face.

Well Sis, you are a special light in my life,
and I just give thanks that I found you.
There are so many in this big RB family of ours that have shown me support.
I have learned a lot since I was adopted by you all.
And as I said earlier, it makes me sad to think that I may never get to meet you face to face. ( but I’m working on it )
