GREEN
Green be the colour of my heart
Green be the colour for all of my art
Green be the colour when at work or at play
that gives me the peace throughout all of the day.
.
For I am a gardener, and tis green that I be
For tis the Irish blood in my veins, that the Leprechaun I be.
So wish me a tale, to tell you I will,
To make your heart yearn for the Green on a hill.
.
So Tammy my sis, I am over the moon
to see you have chosen the Green Man so soon.
For tis he that I feel, does give me the power
to grow all the trees and to look for the flower.

gosh I never saw the play .. didn’t even know it was on broadway back in ‘95 .. but I did pick up the two books, Wicked and Son of Witch, and really enjoyed them! ... what a surprise to know you know about it too!
Larry Davis replied
Our friend in Virginia gave us “Wicked”.
I read it, then bought “Son of a Witch”...
That was also Brilliant.
Now that “Wicked” has opened in Melbourne, and is taking the country by storm, we have totally fallen in love with Elphaba.
But the books are far better than the stage show.
A few things have been changed. But not to much.
I did upload a couple back on page 25 and titled “All Dressed Up For WICKED”
and “All Lit Up For WICKED”. But that was some time ago.
Larry Davis replied
The character Fiyero doesn’t have his spots in the play.
