I took this when I went for a stroll at St.Pauls Backbeach at Sorrento, here in Victoria Australia.
This is just a small inlet of the coastline of Victoria that is still eroding away with the elements.
.
This is not Sorrento in the UK or Italy..
When the emigrants arrived from Europe in the 1800’s they brought with them the names of the places they had come from..hence Australia has duplicate names from all over the place…especially the UK.

Taken with a Panasonic Lumix G2 using a 14 – 42mm Four Thirds lens with just a touch of HDR. ( x2)
Taken with the camera at ground level.

I live at Riddells Creek in the Macedon Ranges of Victoria, and have been involved in Horticulture all my life.
.
I play Blues Harmonica and Bodhran’ in my spare time, as well as getting involved with Genealogy and Medieval History,
I have also been acting for 40 years and was lucky to be cast as a judge in the movie “Stricly Ballroon”…
But my camera is my passion.

    Great coastal scene

  • This was taken at the top of the steps, before I walked down to the beach.

Nature makes her way forward. Wonderful vista.

  • The whole of the southern Victorian Coast is like this…….Well Worn.
With lots of shipwrecks from the 1800’s.
