This is part of an ongoing set of Chateau Chenonceau which I took on my last visit to France in Sept 2011. . This fairytale chateau Chenonceau was built on the River Cher and owes a lot of its charm to women. Built in 1513AD by Katherine Briconnet , then made more attractive by Diane de Poitiers, then made famous by Catherine de Medici. taken with a Lumix G2 using a 45- 200mm zoom Four Thirds lens with a touch of hdr.
Gorgeous shot Larry! The sky colors are amazing and make it look more magical and like a fairytale for sure. Lovely lovely work… would love to visit there indeed. Looks beautiful in the black matte as well. Blessings – jane
Thanks for those kind words. In actual fact the clouds have been slightly enhanced due to the limited amount of HDR that I do with my images…. But they did have the colour in the m to start with. It sure was a magical day. And even with all of us tourists around, I still managed to get a few good shots without any humans in the frame… Stay safe my friend.

This really is a fairytale castle, Larry – beautifull captured !!
We all look at things differently,
And yes, from this angle it does but from the other end it’s nothing like it.
