As I was walking along the beach road of Old Hastings town in the UK, I came across a museum and this image was hanging on the wall. Just one of the many seamen / fishermen that gave there lives for the love of the sea and for the survival of there town. I took this image mainly because of the feel that it had to it and what it represents… ( click on image to enlarge and to appreciate the detail ).
taken with a Lumix G2 using a standard 35mm Four Thirds Lens with a touch of hdr using x2 images in Dynamic Photo HDR.
would love your images of the sea and sail in our group nautical
I have just added a couple, but I will do this one as well…. Thanks Lina. Now that you are doing the group, it will never be the same again, knowing how you have so much quality in your images…

All kinds of heros out there. Many are not even noted for their hard work to support family and community.
We take so much for granted , don’t we though.
