I dedicate this image to a wonderful Grand Lady, Dame Jean Maxwell–Scott ( 8th June 1923 — 5th May 2004 ),
whom I had the pleasure of having afternoon tea with, and who I will always admire and have a place in my heart for…..
My tears do flow.
Dame Jean Maxwell–Scott ……..( 8th June 1923 — 5th May 2004 )
Located near Melrose, on the south bank of the River Tweed in the Borders of Scotland,UK, this was the home of Sir Walter Scott.
I took this shot from the doorway of the glasshouse in the private garden, which was for growing cut flowers as well as vegetables……
Bought by Sir Walter Scott in 1811, this grand home is to die for, and is a must for anyone visiting Scotland…..Click here if you want to read about its history.
Taken with a Pentax 35mm camera and later scanned with post op on Picasa3.
