This is a series, but is also a calendar to try and give a feeling of wonderment of Washington State in the USA which I fell in love with when on holidays. I took this image on the way back from the Maryhill Mansion in Washington State. We were making a shortcut along Dalles Rd, and stumbled on this beautiful old protected ranch with Mt Hood in the distance. This old dwelling was in a paddock just a little further on from the ranch. The Columbia River can be seen in the valley below.. Oct. 2009.
