Located in Bass Strait just north of Tasmania, King Island has a very big Kelp Industry as well as it’s Beef and Cheese. Over the last 200 years, it has claimed hundreds of lives through ships being wrecked all around its coastline.
My Great Grandparents were shipwrecked on King Island in 1866 on the’Netherby" whilst emigrating from England.
This was a piece that I conjured up to give a feel of the place by using seaweed, dried herbs and rockery plants with some leeway given to the bubbles which I got from using PhotoImpact12……..
