This is one of my best eye to eye images I think. And as I am a big fan of Edgar Allan Poe, it brings to mind *"The Raven".. . It’s a Tasmanian Currawong taken on my last trip to Cradle Mountain. ( not a crow ) With this intense stare, I thought it good enough to give it a whirl. I also think that it is very Gothic, as it is kept simple and to the point, and the stare gets into your soul. Whenever I look at it, I seem to get shivers up the back of my neck. Just imagine having this staring at you whilst you are reading Edgar Allan Poe… . . Taken with a p&s Panasonic Lumix FZ30.
