This beautiful magnificent Railway Viaduct Bridge, is made of bluestone, and is located at Malmsbury in Central Victoria, just behind the town gardens & lake.
The river / stream that runs underneath it is the Coliban River which feeds into the Malmsbury Reservoir.

You have captured it beautifully!! I was born in Castlemaine, now live in Melbourne and own land in Inglewood outside Bendigo and have traveled past this magnificent bridge my whole 30 years of life!!! Great image!

  • Thanks Raquel..
I used to be in charge of the Gardens with the Castlemaine Council many years ago, when I lived at Elphinstone.
For the last 20 years I have worked with the Moreland Council here in Melbourne.
Did you know that most of those trees in the garden below this bridge were left over from the planting of the Melbourne Botanic Gardens and were planted by Von Muller back in the 1800’s.
