This is Brough Castle which was taken on our last trip to the UK a few years ago.
Located in Cumbria on the A66, Brough Castle was built in the 1090’s in one corner of the remains of a Roman fort.
Not only was this castle fantastic, but the town of Brough was also a very beautiful and hospitable place to stay.
