Hans Christian Andersen was one of the most popular and well known children’s fairy story writers that ever lived.

This statue is located at Raadhuspladsen 1, Copenhagen 1550, Denmark
( opposite the Tivoli Gardens Building ) on a very busy road, and helps to promote the Danish Culture and History…!!

    In other comments regarding this statue ( Travel sites ) I have noticed that a lot of people say that this statue is located in the wrong place because of the busy road and traffic… But I think where it is promotes it a lot better than being in a park…? At least it’s seen every minute by someone new,,,
