This is the HMAS “Castlemaine” which is permanently moored at Gem Pier in Williamstown.
HMAS Castlemaine, named for the city of Castlemaine, Victoria, was one of 60 Bathurst class corvettes constructed during World War II, and one of 36 initially manned and commissioned solely by the Royal Australian Navy. Wikipedia

was the location the the HMS “Nelson” docked when she brought
my G.G. Grandparents out from England in the early 1860’s…
