Well I have waited for a long time but today being Sat 20th August 2011 I finally bought myself a new Camera.
As the Lumix has given me so much enjoyment and because I felf comfortable with it over the years I just updated the one I had which was the FX30.
So if anyone out there has what is listed below, I would love to hear from you and read what you think of yours…?
Any hints or suggestions welcome….

I’m a Canon man myself, but i own a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS11 which is great, and i know the reviews on your model are favourable, lucky you, i love new camera day! its a pity i cant afford for it to happen more than once every 5 years! are you the rush home sort of person who can’t wait to get everything out the box and start snapping or are you the methodical one who takes their time gets a cup of tea and will only open the new box when they have time to really enjoy it! i’m number 2 for the record.

Now this is spooky…..???
I am heading for Northampton and will be there in 5 weeks.
We are staying with friends at Weedon for a week before leaving to go to Singapore.
But first I will be christening the camera in Normandy for 2 weeks before the UK.
It’s great to make cantact with you Mark.
Tomorrow being sunday I shall go to your homepage and have a ponder…
Thanks for the comments.
Larry Davis:
I’m also No.2.

Regency Close
Weedon Northants….. This will be our 1st visit to the area, so I don’t know the specific area.
My lot come from Huddersfield in Yorkshire and Enfield in Greater London.

Congrats on your new toy. I’m a no 2 as well although I did read the manual for my new camera when i got it
Larry Davis:
Yeah, I had to do that as well.
There’s a lot to get the feel of and I don’t want to stuff it up.
Thanks Leanne.

Congratulations. Good for you! There is nothing as wonderful as a new instrument of enjoyment. :o)
Larry Davis:
So now I don’t have any excuses.
The only major drama I have had with Lumix was when I was in Manila the build up of humidity inside the camera caused blotches within the images and I had to get it stripped down.
And I have never had the confidence with it since then.
Larry Davis:
With the cost of the maintenance I could have just about bought myself another camera…… Derrrr.

ooeee, Larry! happy for ya! … my camera is about 3+ years old and I’ve been thinking about a new one … btw I’m an inbetweener … a quick look at the manual and I start playing … then when I have more time I really get down to all the wheres and whys of my new toy! (smile) …
Larry Davis:
I’ve had my one for about x5 years but as I just said to Bunny, I have been losing confidence in it.
Now I have to get serious………… hehe

Lumix for me too, although I don’t have that model DMC ZRI is the one I use and more than happy/. Shirley
Larry Davis:
I was told that this is the latest in Digital Point and Shoot.
What blew me away is the fact that, even though it’s a point and shoot you can interchange the lenses like an SLR….
So I bought an extra zoom ( 45 – 200 ) and I will now buy myself a Macro and a Panoramic Lens. ….The scope is endless ???

Can’t help but laugh, you sound like a kid in a chocolate factory….Go for it Larry and have fun… Shirley
