Sunset Over Jindabyne - ( inside a split log )
This is one of a set of x3 images that I have brought together for a challenge in the new group “The Fibonacci Sequence”, and relates to Abstract Reality and the trunk of trees.
.
The other night when I was splitting wood for the fire, I split this log to open it up and find this.
What you see is a macro of the split log.
And in the colouring, is where the sap has bled and seeped throughout the surrounding area.
The dark pieces in the bottom half, is where the sap has crystalized.
( Jindabyne is a town located in N.S.W. )
taken with a p&s Panasonic Lumix FZ30 and is set on Manual Macro.
