The Kildonan Hunting Seat

Built in the 13th century on the Isle of Arran in Scotland, this magnificent ruin was the Hunting Seat for the Scottish Kings when Arran was a Crown property.
I took this image on one of my trips to Scotland.
You have to enter the area via a walk along the beach, as the castle ruins are behind a private residence.
