I call the Point Lonsdale Lighthouse the Candle, because it’s a guiding light.

I only had to bend over, as my camera has a swivel on the LCD Screen. ( Panasonic Lumix FZ30.)

How deep was the water you were standing in?

About 3 or 4 inches.. But very sharp rocks.

I think it is the romanticism they have.

Larry I agree and sometimes I think its something passed down from our ancestors – remember most of them (or at least all of mine) came out by sailing ship and these lighthouses would have played such a huge part in their survival.
