Ratlines and Cordage

This image is of the rigging and ropes of the “James Craig”.
I took this image to show just how much rigging is on the ship. But this is just a very small amount.
I think you have to experience it, to appreciate how much there actually is.

beautiful work with this one Larry – I love it. The Endeavour is due in tonight here in Newcastle and the James Craig on Saturday.

  • Larry Davis replied

If you don’t get that camera out and charge up your batterries, I will never speak to you again…
Don’t forget, you can do a lot more with an image of Tall Ships if there is nobody in the frame. That’s why I always allow some extra time for waiting for the right moment.
But unless you get there early, you are going to have a lot of people to combat.

Incredible Larry…...this perspective really shows it off (the rigging and ropes)....I love how it disappears up into the misty sea air….thanks for posting this!

  • Larry Davis replied

Ahhh, I just love it when someone writes something like you have.
It shows how a person relly feels about an image.
    Thanks Joyce. ( hugs )

Batteries are charged, bags packed and ready to go – but I have to go to work – don’t worry though we plan to be in there at the crack of dawn on Saturday for as many shots as we can take.
