Thanks everyone… It was taken about 8:30 pm from where I live at Riddells Creek, with the zoom of my Panasonic Lumix at 420.

Very cool :) This is a good souvenir!
I don’t have a tripod though I could have used a music stand, lol. My shots look like bouncing balls.

Just stunning. Excellent capture. Well done. I think this is my fav moon picture so far.

Most people complained about too much cloud cover – you’ve coped fantastically with them.
I just told someone else that theirs was the best I’d seen – I think this one beats it!

NIce shot, I saw the moon but left my camera at work damn it! We had no cloud cover at all and would have looked awesome down the main street! Good Job! Better than what I saw on the news!

I have to say again…...this shot is AWESOME!! It looks like you were floating in space when you took it hehe :)

The clouds appear in other images of yours. Are they computer generated ? They appear illuminated by moonlight but its an eclipse. Very nice alluring image though.

Beautiful shot. The wisps of cloud and the blood orange coloration give it an Old World feel to me. This is a moon under which to tell ghost stories. Great shot!
