This rowan grows on the northern shore of Loch Leven near the mouth of Allt Nathroch. The Pap of Glencoe can be seen to the west.
The photos, of which it is composed, were taken at the end of a dry spell before spring had begun. Hence the lack of any green in the grass.
To my amazement there was a stag’s antler lying beneath it the morning I went to photograph it.
