Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge-Alternate 2 by

A view of the famous Opera House and part of the Harbour Bridge. I have tried for an alternative view of these unmistakable landmarks. (Landscape version) Taken with a Pentax K200D (101 views 1/9/10)

dusk, faves, harbour bridge, lowlight, lscapes, opera house, silhouette, sunset, sydney opera house

English/Australian “sometime” photographer and T-shirt designer now living in Brassall, QLD.
I design mostly when I get the urge or a “next big thing” idea :)
With regards to photography, I was working towards being a full-time wildlife photographer, but with a family to feed on a regular basis, this was not to be, but never mind, I still get out now and again and take a few shots, but it seems designing is more “my thing” particularly if I can make use of the Australian Flag

A very creative use of silhouettes and a very different way of presenting these two famous Aussie icons. Great capture mate :)

  • Thank you. Thats exactly what I was after when I was taking the shot. :-)

I checked out the B&W and came to check out the colour to compare and whilst i like the B&W I think the addition of the sun colour makes it for me – cracking

  • Thanks Cris. I prefer the colour too, the B and W is for a challenge LOL
