In this painting, we are in Arkaroola, in the Gammon Ranges – Sth Australia.
The blues represent the change of light that occurs at sunset time that bathes the entire landscape then. The light becomes softer and applies numerous subtle contrasts to the various parts of the landscape. Therefore, the light separates in many different tones of blue according to the part of the landscape it hits, thus the different blues I used to highlight this particular phenomena in that painting.
