Most of my work is done subconsciously and intuitively, without a plan. I believe there are meanings in it for each of us to find. Sometimes, it’s just about enjoying the absurdity! Full Bio

The three hooves crack me up, but give the creature perfect balance. Oooh and all of the little hands. This slimy creature is very clever, Cindy.

  • Thanks, Frannie, it was fun in the process of drawing it, realizing all the features had potential meanings, before I could consciously plan them. Like the three feet, ‘stable,’ but easily tipped over, and the many hands that could be doing different things or more hiding behind the back, the single focused eye…these subconscious quick drawings are where I have the most fun. No doubt people will see their own meanings in it, which I always welcome and enjoy hearing about.

Sweating through the tall tales…lies beget lies and there comes a time when they forget how the lie went…fantastic impression…

  • Yes, in the dream that inspired it, the lies just got sillier and sillier. There was nothing like this creature in the dream but it seems to personify what went on in the dream.
