Companion painting, His Birds:
On the two, I started out doing a man and woman companion paintings in the same general colors, then decided they needed pets. So of course they each got at least one parrot, because birds are my favorite pets. They look much happier now.

I love these new exagerrated faces. The bird is a nice touch too.
Thanks! It was amazing how much happier they looked with a bird. At first I painted them as just faces but knew they needed something. Then it came to me, they need a companion, a pet…a bird of course.
