DECAF; big chicken switches to decaf by moonlight by

Acrylic palette knife painting on stretched cotton canvas, 48" wide x 36" high, (1.5" deep, edges black).

Up all night! Still wide awake, a giant chicken switches to decaf while admiring the full moon, blowing on the cup of java to cool it off. Semi surrealistic, not quite a cartoon, I don’t know what to call this, perhaps you will. Some of my large chicken artwork went to an art show called The Women’s Room, at the Bragg’s Pie Factory gallery in Phoenix, Arizona, in Sep. 2011.

Does a chicken drink decaf when he’s sick? (The alternative would be just too gruesome.) Congratulations on another great painting Cindy!

  • Thank you!

Cindy – your artistic skill combined with your brain produces MAGIC. Perhaps the next version could be “stylist” and the chicken could be using that mouth like a blow dryer. hee hee. Now, honestly, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to go to that thought without the inspiration of your work. Fantastic.

  • LOL, thanks!
