Acrylic paint, colored pencils, crackle medium, on cotton canvas board. Original is 10 × 10 inches; some of the edges are cropped by the scanner.
Like so much of my work, this started without a plan, I just started making shapes and let the brush tell me what to do next. Once it started to take form I thoroughly enjoyed the absurd scene that unfolded, especially since it included one of my favorite birds, the chicken. The original painting has sold.
Love it, however funny as it is it is technically an excellent painting, the perspective of the lines in the wall and the lines in the sidewalk are excellent. Great axnometric perspective work.
