Acrylic on canvas board, 8×8 inches. Grass Eater was in the juried art show, House of Fun, at the Shemer Art Center in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2011.
Of course there is no end to the semi surreal and outright surreal creatures that come out of my imagination. This is just one more in a long line. I liked how happy spikey orange one is, feeding on green grass.
oh dear, oh dear.. this image made me tear up.. maybe it’s the mood, or maybe it’s what’s going on in my life.. he just look like he needs saving… sigh.. very awesome when an image does that.. as happy as he looks, he makes me cry.. thank you (save him please, he won’t ask you, but I do believe he will appreciate it)
