Acrylic on papyrus, mounted on gessoed hardboard panel. Original is 5 × 5 inches x 1.5 inches deep. Crackle medium is hand applied and continues around sides. I like giving my animals an exaggerated and slightly demented look, a style that is often called pop surrealism, though I don’t really have any particular style or genre in mind when I create them.
