The First Peanut in the series. Acrylic on linen canvas, 6 × 6 inches. Original painting is framed and available for sale at Willo North gallery in Phoenix, Arizona.
You can read talented writer Ian Osborne’s story about what he thinks the Peanut is up to!
Like so many of my works, I had no intended meaning when I began. I don’t know if the peanut is running to, or away, from something, going on vacation, or what. His face is left blank. Viewers see different things in it which delights me. It makes art more like a conversation that way.
