Still waiting to see the babies from these mamas…great series Cindy…

  • Thanks, Janis, I kind of like not doing the babies, it’s too much fun hearing what others think they must be like!

LOVE this! She looks like she’s listening to music only she can hear. Wonderfully real unreality!
    Walnut ink?

  • LOL, love hearing interpretations! Thanks, glad you like it. Walnut ink, at least the kind I have, is a dark brown ink made by Daniel Smith. I kow there are other brands but I was thrown off a bit by some of them being called antiquing something or other, and I wasn’t sure if they’d be what I wanted. If you google “walnut ink” you’ll find a bunch of info on what it is, how to make it, etc. But we don’t have walnuts here, so I had to buy it. Here’s a pic of the bottle, (blurry…sorry).

What a cute beast! Looks like she should be part of a surreal version of the romulus and remus tale :)

beautiful drawing wow thanks for the tip on the walnut ink now it would be fun to try to make some

  • Thanks, we don’t have walnuts growing here and I think it’s the outer husk they make it from…but in any case I found it more efficient to buy it LOL!
